Our Curriculum at a Glance

Green Valley Public School follows the CBSE curriculum at every stage. Value Education, sport and the arts run through every stage.

Pre-primary · Nursery to UKG

Our pre-primary curriculum turns play, stories and songs into purposeful learning. No formal examinations; progress is recorded through observation, worksheets and activities.

Primary · Classes I to V

We build English skills step by step: neat handwriting, fluent reading with real understanding, and confident speaking. Oral and written assessment, projects, class work and term assessments, kept stress-free.

Middle · Classes VI to VIII

Green Valley is English-medium, with Hindi taught in all classes and a third language in the middle years. Periodic tests, notebook submission, subject enrichment activities and term examinations.

Secondary · Classes IX and X

Children are natural scientists. In our hands-on science labs, they test what they learn in class. Unit tests, half-yearly, pre-board and board examinations, plus practicals and projects.

Senior Secondary · XI and XII

Teachers, aptitude activities, orientation sessions and our counsellor guide each student towards the Science, Commerce or Humanities path that truly suits them.

In our hands-on science labs, they test what they learn in class, from colour-changing solutions to cells under the microscope.

Green Valley Public School's library is a bright, welcoming place where children discover the joy of reading, with cosy corners, stories for every age and friendly guidance.

Remedial Classes and Academic Support

Remedial classes give children who need it extra time with the basics, in small, friendly groups where questions are welcome. A bridge programme also helps new students settle in, with parents kept closely informed.

Our Homework Policy

Our homework is short, purposeful and age-appropriate. It builds daily study habits and independent thinking, with mistakes treated as learning.
